HISTORY, MUSEUMS & TOURS

History buffs and rock hounds rejoice with the rich culture the West End has to offer. Iron mining brought this area to life, so there is no lack of information about it all. Jasper red is a color we're all proud of, and you'll see why after taking a stroll through the museums and historical societies.

Not only is the area known for its mining history, but we are also the birth place of organized skiing, and home of the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame and Museum.
